Beacon Caravan Park
The cabin I was in was filthy. It took me 2 hours to clean when I first arrived, I had to ask for a broom. Hot water lasted only 5 minutes, the smallest hot water system I have ever seen. I was solo, not sure how to people would be able to have a shower. Even though laundry was free, it was filthy. Camp kitchen was a health hazard. This has all been forwarded to Shire. Give this a miss, try Bencubbin instead.

Medium size caravan park in Beacon, WA with good facilities.Time and Cost: No apparent time limit, $11 per night unpowered.Access: Sealed, dirt roads within caravan park.Facilities: Medium flat parking area with dirt/gravel base and no shade. Facilities include flushing toilet, shower, power, potable water, camp kitchen and laundry. Good Telstra reception but no Optus or TV.Ambiance: Quiet.Good campground for a quiet, multi-night stay. Close to town for food and supplies at the general store. Call shire to book and pay for sites. Honesty payment system for after hours.

Great caravan park. Cheap ($26 powered site) and they give you a $10 voucher to use in town. We went to the cafe in the General Store to buy coffees and tea only to find they were free!!Lovely people, superb shower block.

Fantastic caravan park, so clean and friendly. We stayed there overnight in conjunction with a local wildflower tour.If you are heading this way in spring don't miss it. A lot of the community was involved and they were just so nice and informative. This is a country town full of spirit, don't miss it out.

Clean and neat .... and free washing machine and drier use! Worked out to be only $16/ night after $10/night credit vouchers were given to spend at the local businesses. Thank you Beacon!!

As I was there on the weekend, no one is available to help you with any issues. The TV in my cabin didn't work even after I tried to fix it for a few hours. This was the middle of my holiday and was the only day I was going to sit and rest so having no TV was extremely boring. I messaged them about it and was basically called a liar. The town has nothing open at all on Sunday so make sure you are prepared with food etc.

Awesome park. Spotlessly clean. Free clothes dryer and $2.00 for a washing machine. Gravel sites so no mud. $26.00 per night for powered site plus $10.00 voucher towards pub meal or drinks. Would highly recommend.

Great spot with a good camp kitchen, barbie, hot plates and table and chairs.Only issue was the bowl in the disabled toilet is not fixed to the floor and needs reconcreting. $27 but u get a voucher for $10 to spend in town. Excellent value for money.

Great community run park, large gravel sites, $26pn power, water for 2 adults, honesty box, so bring the correct change. $2 for a load of wash, free dryer. Very clean, new amenities. Walk to the community club, Friday night was pizza night and very delicious. You also get a $10 voucher to spend in the town. Would I stay again? That's a definate.
