In 2019 we stopped here.We had the new cabin accommodation, which was quite nice, especially considering the outback location. Ample room with 2 tub chairs and small coffee table, but no lounge nor kitchen utensils or cooking facilities, but there is a camp kitchen. We booked in to the dining area for the evening meal, so not having kitchen in the cabin was not an issue for us.In 2014The room we had was in the old shearers quarters and being fairly small rooms, there was no room for much more than the bed, which was large and comfortable. There were two large pillows and these could be used as back rests against the bedhead to read. The quarters were quaint though. We enjoyed the stay and used it again on the return Nullarbor drive. The toilet and shower block was in another building and shared with other guests.A communal kitchen was provided, but a roast was on offer for $25 a head and we opted for that. It was very tasty, although we both found the gravy and baked potatoes too salty for our taste. We also stayed on the return Nullarbor drive and the menu this time was Shepherds Pie, which was good, although still a bit salty.

Stayed there for a night and it was great! Got a standard room with shared bathroom and toilets no problems! Friendly staff and helpful! Chef was a bit of a comedian, but most importantly could cook! $30 and basically all you can eat! Awesome spot with great views and plenty of wildlife! Good choice for accomodation. Thanks guys!

We loved it here! Had a stone room which was actually very comfortable. They had a Christmas in July theme with a tree and mulled wine which was odd but only added to the wonderful experience. Staff all lovely and lots of birds and wildlife too.

Great place to stay after a long day driving. Clean and cool. Rooms are in the converted shearers' quarters and bathroom facilities are shared. Showers are a $1 for 5 mins of which you are given a $1 on check in and 5 mins was enough. Friendly staff, good food and a camp kitchen available.

I really liked this place and stopped on both my way over to Western Australia and also on my way back east again. I really enjoyed the camp kitchen and, at least on my way west, met some lovely fellow travellers who were able to give me some pointers on some great places to visit. The showers do cost $1 for 5 minutes but they are clean and the hot water is hot!I would definitely stay there again

Nice spot. Quite popular. $30 per night with power and water only there was no water. Understand water is precious here but if you advertise power and water you need to reduce the cost if you can't provide it. Showers good, need a shelf. Meal bit expensive.

Highly recommended stopover. Plenty of room and a nice road in. We were using a double swag which we like to set up under our awning but you can't drive your vehicle onto the tent sites to protect the grass, so that was a bit of a bummer . Maybe a bit more room so tenters can use their awnings on their vehicles would be nice. Other than that everything is good. Bring some $1 coins for the hot shower

Loved this place. Clean amenities friendly staff. Relaxing spot to kick back for a few days. Kids are free to roam around, ours had a ball. Dinner and drinks were priced quite well too.We are going back there on our way home too.
