Our stay was a happy & relaxing one. It ticked all the boxes except for one (which is minor), no Wi Fi. However, there were many pluses; very clean & tidy amenities, great location (road traffic definitely not an issue). Appreciated the extras e.g., wood fire set up ready to burn, tea towels, dish cloths, liquid soap, extra crockery, pots to use, double electric elements for cooking ++.Owners very obliging, friendly & helpful. Thank you for your hospitality!Would highly recommend this caravan park to those visiting the area

Initially I posted a 1star review. Was asked by owner and offered full refund (which we refused) to remove. I now repost with 2stars- one each for clean ablutions and grassed area. BUT @ $42/night unpowered is expensive, only one key per van for ablutions, sprinkler system on at 16:30 resulting in us being unable to dry our laundry (not everything can go in a dryer) and having to sit in the access road as sitting at our van meant we got wet and, yes, the female manager is abrupt.

Intended to book here so rang and asked about the possibility of a drive through site although happy to back in if one wasn’t available.. Lady told me very tersely to find a car park and learn how to reverse. Gave it a miss and continued on to Cranbrook which incidentally is excellent.

Lovely spot close to many local attractions. Helpful staff.

Just be advised if you are tenting here you have to move your tent every 3 days so you don't damage the grass

Fantastic accommodation! Clean, tidy and well looked after. Shirley really welcoming and always great for a chat. Wife and kids loved the chalet and the surrounding area.

Have stayed here a few times as overnight stops with our caravan the past couple of years, & have to say the owners here are the most unhelpful & uninviting I've ever come across. Our first stay here a few years ago we assumed they must be selling or leaving because their attitude was terrible (like they didn't care anymore), but lo & behold they're still there to this day. After this latest stay we've decided to find an alternative - we won't be staying here anymore.It's a shame because the park itself is a really nice one. The toilet/laundry block is old but well maintained and clean, the grass is well-kept, the trees are nice... they obviously look after the place. But perhaps they're able to keep it so nice because there is hardly ever anyone there. I'd guess that most of their business is from the on-site residents & the transient workers (i.e. road maintenance crews etc).The lady made a comment that they were full when we were perplexed as to why we couldn't stay hitched up (as is common practice for overnight stays when it's possible)... not sure whether she's lying to herself or delusional because the place was, once again, empty bar a couple of other shortstayers (see photos).P.S. Appreciate the guess (owner) but as a female I can assure you my name isn't 'Geoff'
