Toodyay Caravan Park
Basic bush camp with a pool that is freezing cold despite the high 30's daily temp. Sites are not level and have no grass, ground is gravelly and a serious contender for concrete except very dusty. Has hot showers in need of an upgrade. Be aware that the price on the net is not the same as reality, we were told that the price was out of date, inspite of a laminated identical copy on the reception, also have certainly met friendlier hosts.

At less than an hour away from most, if not all northern suburbs, this caravan park had everything that we needed! They were accomodating to our needs (travelling with family and friends) ensuring that we were all together! Bathrooms were well maintained and location wise it was ideal only a short walk along the river to town!

Lovely small caravan park close to river for bush walks and can walk into town. Owners friendly they even gave my daughter and her husband an extra blanket to keep warm. Toilets and showers were always clean with lots of fresh air coming in. It's definitely worth a trip back for another camping weekend.

Really enjoyed our few days stay here. Walking distance along the Avon River into town, very clean and well kept. We stayed in one of the little chalet rooms. Warm and cosy in winter and well insulated from the cold and outdoor sounds. Great little kitchen set up including stove top, microwave, fridge kettle and toaster.

For $45 a night, this is at best 1 star! Small sites, only just managed to get van, awning and car on site. Hard gravel dusty ground. No camp kitchen? No pool? $45 a night? Got to be kidding!

Beautiful park right next to Avon River. Great service and friendly staff. Very noisy at night with trains passing. Otherwise a fantastic place to relax.

Fantastic caravan park, large level sites, friendly helpful hosts easy access to the Avon River and a pleasant 1.5km walk into town on a riverside footpath. The facilities are clean and well maintained and there is a pool if the weather is good.
